Why Use Oat Flour?
It's wonderfully versatile! Use oat flour to make a towering gluten free hummingbird cake that's packed with juicy pineapple and crunchy walnuts and finished with a tangy cream cheese frosting. Or, use it to make a cinnamon-swirled gluten free coffee cake that's so buttery and moist you won't be able to stop at one piece. Fold oat flour into oat flour chocolate chip cookies and gluten free chocolate chip cookie bars, use it to make an oat flour pie crust for a gluten free apple pie, or tuck it into a citrusy gluten free lemon loaf. There are so many great ways to use oat flour!
Oat flour is also one of the more affordable gluten-free flours around, and you can find packages of gluten free oat flour in most grocery stores. And of course, there's no need to save oat flour just for gluten-free baking. Try it in a 50% swap for all-purpose flour to add whole grains to your recipe.

Hi Melanie, I have not but I imagine it would work pretty well! If you try it, make sure to substitute oat flour by weight for the a/p flour in a recipe so that you use enough oat flour.
