Gluten Free Thanksgiving Menu Ideas
When I'm cooking Thanksgiving (most years!), my menu is simple, wholesome, and naturally gluten-free. My holiday table features simply-prepared vegetables, a hearty vegetarian main course dish, and of course, a turkey served with gluten-free gravy and gluten-free stuffing.
It doesn't need to be fancy, but it's always seasonal, fresh, and delicious. Check out the recipes below to jump-start your own gluten-free Thanksgiving planning.
And, if you're in the mood for more on this topic, see my NPR story on the gluten-free (and vegan) holiday table. Other NPR pieces that may be of interest include my article on vegetarian/vegan Thanksgiving and a piece on Thanksgiving on the lighter side. And, my Easy Thanksgiving Sides article, published in the Press Democrat, has some nice vegetable options. It's so easy to incorporate gluten-free and vegetarian dishes that everyone will enjoy.
