Roasted Vegetable Love

Now that spring is here, I might have to give my oven a rest for a bit and make more on-the-stove, or raw, dishes. But here is one of my favorite meals from this winter: risotto, roasted asparagus, lightly sauteed green beans and roasted cauliflower.

Winter, I’ll miss you a little (but only a little).

    Roasted veg are a passion of mine; the high heat just brings out the best flavors, don’t you think? But when the summer comes (in San Francisco – all two weeks of it!), you can always grill instead of roasting. Same great flavor, but the heat stays outside the house, where it belongs. Cheers!
