‘Flourless.’ — Out Tomorrow!

As I may have mentioned, publishing a book is often likened to giving birth. While I’m still not sold on that analogy I will say that the day my cookbook flourless. (recipes for naturally gluten-free desserts) is released into the world — and hopefully your hands — can certainly be called its birth day.

Two years after signing my contract with the fabulous Chronicle Books to write a naturally gluten-free dessert cookbook, the birth-day of that book arrives this Tuesday. As in, August 12. As in tomorrow (!!!!!!).

I plan to crack a bottle of champagne in the afternoon to celebrate, but of course. I’d also love to see any of you Bay Area folks on August 17 at Omnivore Books in San Francisco (Noe Valley) for a little release party and book signing. I’ll have chilled bubbly and some treats from flourless. to share. I hope to chat with you then!

Meanwhile we continue to soak up the delicious Northern California sun and fog for a few more weeks before heading back to Casablanca – definitely trying to be in the moment as much as possible. Preferably with flourless cookies. And maybe some cake, too.
