Instructions
Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes, then add the garlic and cook for a few minutes more, until soft.
Stir in the flour and soy sauce to form a smooth paste. Gradually whisk in the broth.
Season with salt and pepper, then bring the gravy to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring constantly, for 8 to 10 minutes, or until thickened.
