Place 2 cups frozen fruit of choice and 1 cup plain Greek yogurt in a blender or food processor and process until very smooth and creamy. It will have the consistency of soft serve ice cream.
Taste the frozen yogurt and drizzle in a little maple syrup or honey if you wish. Blend once more to incorporate.
Notes
Add more fruit. My ratio of 2 cups of frozen fruit to 1 cup of Greek yogurt works perfectly for a creamy, soft-serve style of yogurt, which I love. For a firmer, more scoopable yogurt, use 4 cups of frozen fruit to 1 cup of yogurt.
What type of yogurt? I use plain Greek yogurt - non-fat, low-fat, or whole-fat yogurt works fine. I also like using a Skyr yogurt (and Icelandic style of yogurt that is similar to Greek yogurt) like Siggi's brand. Skyr is a bit higher in protein than Greek yogurt, if that is helpful. Do NOT use a regular (thinner) yogurt; you need the thickness of Greek yogurt for this recipe.
Can I make it ahead? Technically, yes, you can make this yogurt ahead of time. However, if stored in the freezer, it will become super hard. I recommend letting it sit out on the counter or in the fridge for a bit before scooping it so it softens a little. I also prefer to eat this frozen yogurt as soon as I make it.
Can I use a blender? Yes, a blender also works. I have even made this recipe using a stick blender. As long as you mix the fruit and yogurt until it is very smooth and creamy, anything works.
Add-ins. These could include mini chocolate chips or chopped chocolate, almond butter, fresh mint leaves, vanilla extract, or almond extract.
